For right-back Marco Thiede from the second division soccer team Karlsruher SC, the season has ended prematurely after an ankle injury.

“We no longer take any risk,” said head coach Christian Eichner at the press conference on Thursday: “At the start of training, we want to welcome all players who are currently injured, including it.”
In the current season, Thiede played 24 games for the KSC, for the last time he was used on matchday 29 against SC Paderborn (2: 2).
