The Mega Hit Mario Kart 8 Deluxe receives new routes!
The 4th wave of the so-called booster distance pass is now available and includes eight more courses for the popular fun racer on the Nintendo Switch.
But that’s not all: part of the expansion is a new character that enjoys a very special status among Nintendo fans.
The new routes are either part of the DLC to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or part of a paid subscription.
We have all the details for you.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: These are the new routes

Until the end of 2023, new routes for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be released.

Eight of the 48 planned routes are now available.
In detail, it is about
Exit Amsterdam (Mario Kart Tour, Mobile)
River banks Park (Mario Kart Super Circuit, Game Boy Advance)
DK Spokane (Mario Kart Wii, Wii)
Yogis Eland (new)
that form the new fruit cup and invite them to the happy race.
In addition, the courses of the Boomerang Cup join:
Bangkok evening red (Mario Kart Tour, Mobile)

Waluigi-Arena (Mario Kart Double Dash, Game cube)

In addition to classics from previous Mario Kart games on Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Gamete and Wii, we also get adaptations of some routes of the Mobile title Mario Kart Tour, which is available free of charge (Free2Play) for smartphones.
Nintendo also delights us with a new driver or with a new driver.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Eight new routes and a new character

This new driver is not a stranger because it is Bird.
The dragon-like being actually comes from the western version of Super Mario Bros. 2 and spits eggs out of his mouth as an intermediate boss.
Bird is originally described in the guidance of the game as a male character, who decided to be a girl and would rather be called Beretta.
For this reason, many fans look at it as the first transgender character in a video game.
However, this was never officially confirmed by Nintendo.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: How to get the new routes
